Oya everyone!
How’s the weather been where you live?
Right now, there’s probably about a foot of snow in the shallow places out there, and more’s falling. It’s been so cold that on Friday we went outside and didn’t even put coats on, were so surprised at how warm it was, and when we looked at the temperature it was 15 degrees (Fahrenheit).
Fun times.
I’m really excited for spring.
But for now, it is February still. And apparently there’s this thing going around called the #FantasyFebruary Challenge, and I’m gonna DO IT!
My friend Ariella did this on her blog a couple days ago, and as I am always in the mood for free content I will now do it as well. It was begun by Jenelle on her blog which is right here, and it’s a pretty simple thingy.

Lookit this cool graphic I mean c’mon.
So now, I shall commence answering the questions, for it its #FantasyFebruary time!!!
(I’m real tired, boys, can you tell?)
FIRST QUESTION: WHAT WAS THE FIRST FANDOM YOU FELL INTO?
Wow. What a question.
Well, let’s see . . . what technically counts as a fandom? Does it only count as being in the fandom if you like, interact with other people that like the thing and look at memes and such? Or does it count if you’re simply obsessed with it all by yourself?
Because I’ve always been obsessed with one thing or another. When I was around . . . six, I was totally into Nancy Drew, I read every single one I had, every single one my mom had, every single one the library had. Then it was Sisters Eight. Then it was American Girl. But I think the first real fandom I fell into was Star Wars. Just . . . The Clone Wars, man. We’d watch as many episodes as possible every week with Kyle and Josh when we went to their house for violin lessons. I devoured the Star Wars books my dad found in the basement from when he was little. Kyle and I had a legitimate knowledge war about Star Wars lore. For more than two years, Star Wars was my Thing.
Fun times.
QUESTION TWO: WHAT IS THE MOST RECENT FANDOM YOU’VE BECOME PART OF?
There’s two.
MCYT and Trollhunters.
Now, Trollhunters, I never thought I’d watch. I heard people gushing about it and always thought ‘pfft, it can’t be that good. Looks pretty dumb. Nah, I’ll pass.’ Then my friend Rolena started going on about how much she loved it, and I trust her taste. So then I started the series.
I loved it okay
It was just . . . so much less stupid than I expected it to be. And the characters aaaaaaaaaa. And the plot??? Incredible??? And then I watched 3Below, which to be honest isn’t quite as good but still, enjoyed it.
And then the other day I watched the entire Wizards of Arcadia in one day.
I cried a little bit.
And don’t even get me STARTED on Minecraft Youtube. Like actually don’t. I will never shut up. Hermitcraft, Dream SMP, mmmmmmm I love it so much.
See I’m already going off MOVING ON.
QUESTION THREE: STAR WARS OR STAR TREK?
I mean
I mean I kinda just answered this.
But like Star Trek is pretty cool too. I don’t really get it entirely, but my dad watches it sometimes when he’s bored and its fun to make fun of whatever’s going on in the show.
What does it say about me that one of my favorite things is making fun of movies and shows while I’m watching them?
Y’know I’m just not gonna worry about that right now NEXT
QUESTION FOUR: MARVEL OR DC?
Spiderman.
Obviously.
Yeah, I never really got into DC very much. Like, Batman’s pretty cool, I guess.
But I’m not really a huge Marvel fan either. I just really like Spiderman. He’s my favorite.
QUESTION FIVE: WHAT IS A FANDOM YOU LOVE ENOUGH TO WANT TO LIVE IN THAT WORLD?
Does the Dream SMP or Hermitcraft count?
No?
Right then.
See the issue here is that most worlds that people fall in love with, well, they involve a whole lot of death for everyone who isn’t the main character. And I highly doubt I’d wanna be a main character in any of them anyway. Middle Earth? Extreme amounts of death. Star Wars galaxy? They got death stars and sun crushers, man, there’s no way I’d survive. Rizkaland? Don’t even know what’s going on there anymore. Aerwiar? NO ONE is safe in Aerwiar. Trollhunters’d be alright, actually, not many people actually die in that, and trolls really aren’t that hard to deal with. It’d be quite fun actually.
Perhaps Trollhunters.
Or whatever dimension Spiderman lives in.
QUESTION uh what was it SIX: IF YOU COULD HANG OUT WITH A CHARACTER FROM ONE OF YOUR FANDOMS WHO WOULD IT BE?
Spiderman.
DUH.
Or Ranboo, but technically he’s a real person and its a possibility that I could hang out with him in real life so I don’t think that counts.
QUESTION SEVEN: UNKNOWN FANDOM (SOMETHING YOU LOVE BUT NOBODY ELSE SEEMS TO HAVE HEARD OF)
Ah.
Let me think.
See, a couple years ago, I would have had many many things that I was absolutely obsessed with and nobody else even cared about the existence of. But I am a very persuasive and annoying person so a lot of my friends are now knee-deep in the thing with me. However it feels like I’m the only one who knows about some of my favorite things, because my local friends have no idea what I’m talking about 98% of the time and they do not wish to get involved, and for good reason.
QUESTION . . . OH WAIT . . . .WE’RE DONE.
~Ace
Very cool!!

Oh man! Trollhunters was so epic. Reading everyone else’s fandom posts is just really making me realize that I did a pretty awful job on my own. I forgot SO MANY of the fandoms that I really love. Poor, neglected fandoms.
Spiderman is my favorite, too. Or Batman. But clearly Spiderman would be more fun to hang out with.
